We are looking for a skilled and creative Wall Painting/Muralist Artist for a job designing and executing large-scale murals and wall paintings for various mural/relief mural projects.
Qualifications:
- We prefer a degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Applied Art, or a related field, but it’s not mandatory; self-taught artists can also apply.
- Proven experience in mural painting or large-scale wall art projects.
- Strong artistic ability with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in various painting techniques job (e.g., spray paint, acrylics, brushwork).
- Creativity and the ability to adapt designs to different spaces and client preferences.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application techniques, and color theory.
- Ability to work with various mediums, including traditional paints and spray paints.
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of proportion, perspective, and scale in large artworks.
- Physical stamina to work on ladders, scaffolding, or in outdoor environments for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interpret client needs and work within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create murals, wall paintings, and large-scale art installations based on client specifications and creative briefs.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and our team to develop concepts and finalize designs.
- Prepare sketches and mock-ups for approval prior to commencing the mural project.
- Paint murals on a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and outdoor structures, using different techniques and materials.
- Ensure proper surface preparation (e.g., cleaning, priming) for long-lasting, high-quality mural application.
- Handle large-scale projects, including measurements, layout planning, and working on scaffolding or ladders when necessary.
- Source and manage quality art supplies for each project.
- Clean and maintain the workspace after project completion, ensuring proper storage of all equipment and supplies.
- Work within tight timelines constraints while maintaining the highest quality of artistry.
- Document and photograph completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes.
